Job summary

Acquire Me is seeking a highly proficient Python Engineer to join a major buildout at a growing commodities platform backed by a top multi-strategy hedge fund. You will work directly with traders and quants across energy markets, building data, pricing, risk and analytics systems that support the desk.

You will own problems from initial modelling through to production, crafting Python solutions around pricing, risk and analytics and developing data and compute infrastructure used by traders.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Python.
• Background in trading, financial markets, commodities or similarly demanding technical environments.
• Experience working with large-scale data, distributed systems or quantitative platforms.
• Strong STEM background preferred.

You’d work directly with traders and quants across complex energy markets, building the data, pricing, risk and analytics systems that support the desk. The remit runs from understanding the underlying commercial problem through to modelling, engineering and production implementation.
