Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Python Developer for Financial Services in New York City. This hybrid role requires on-site presence three days a week and the ability to attend in-person interviews.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize Python-based applications, using Django/Flask, Pandas, and NumPy, with a focus on security, scalability, and performance in a regulated industry.

Python Developer (Financial Services)
Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)
Contract
Important Note: Candidates must be local to the NYC area or willing to relocate and must be available and willing to attend Face-to-Face (F2F) interviews.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Proven experience in developing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing Python applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong database design, development, and SQL querying skills.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working within the Financial Services industry.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade applications in regulated environments.
