Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer information systems, Information technology, or a closely related field.
• Work location is Charlotte, NC with required travel to client locations throughout the USA.
• Experience with data stores and Hadoop ecosystem is expected.

Responsibilities

• Build domain-driven microservices.
• Model data in different data stores and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Work with Snowflake, DynamoDB, Spark, Hive, Nifi, Spark Streaming, Kinesis, Kafka.
• Tune for performance and scalability.
• Handle schema evolution and data formats such as JSON, Parquet and Avro.
• Operate in a public cloud environment, particularly AWS.
• Adopt CI/CD and automated testing practices.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum development; interest in AI/ML.

• Familiarity with practices such as CI/CD and Automated testing.
• Agile/Scrum Application development; Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Required Education
