About The Role
We are seeking experienced and motivated Python Developers across North America, South America, and Europe to join our development team. This is a full-time remote position focused on building scalable, high-performing eCommerce solutions using Python and Django. You will work with a collaborative and innovative team and contribute to challenging projects that go beyond repetitive tasks. Our culture supports continuous learning and developer growth, with a focus on individual career development in Python programming.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as LESS, SASS, jQuery, and ES6
• Interest in software development best practices and continuous learning
• Experience working on software development projects, preferably in agile environments
• Understanding or interest in eCommerce systems and platforms
• Prior experience using open-source tools and technologies
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable features for Shuup’s multivendor eCommerce platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant code
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to product planning
• Share knowledge with team members and mentor junior developers where applicable
• Keep up with emerging trends in Python and related technologies
• Continuously improve code quality through code reviews and refactoring
