Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well.
• Expert level proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality.
• Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho).
• Data Warehousing knowledge / experience.
• Ability to write small scripts in Unix / Bash.
• Application development experience using advanced Python skills required.
• SQL Server query performance optimization and file manipulation.
• 5-8 years of experience in systems analysis and applications development.
• T-SQL experience – performance tuning and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models.
• Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT.
• Make minor changes to production code and maintain production models.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models including associated scripting, error handling and documentation.
• Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT as required.
• Independently able to make minor changes to the production code if input or output structures change, e.g., fields are added, renamed or redefined, or service groups added; and perform regular maintenance of production models including troubleshooting of TP 2.0 internal errors captured in the TP 2.0 error log.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well.
• Expert level proficiency in SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality.
• Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data Stage, SSIS, Pentaho, etc.).
• Data Warehousing knowledge / experience (Dimensional and Schema design).
• Ability to write small scripts in Unix / Bash.
• Application development experience using advanced Python skills required.
• SQL Server query performance optimization, file manipulation, exception handling.
• 5-8 years of experience in systems analysis, applications development and systems architecture.
• T‑SQL experience – performance tuning, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views; Microsoft SQL Server DBMS expertise preferred.
