Job summary

Signature IT World Inc is seeking an experienced full-stack software developer for a 12-month hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week. The candidate will contribute across Python (FastAPI/Flask) and Java (Spring Boot) stacks, building RESTful APIs, microservices, and data-intensive applications on AWS.

The role emphasizes cloud deployment, CI/CD, containers, IaC, testing, security, observability, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Hands-on development with Python (FastAPI/Flask) and Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless/event-driven apps.
• Strong AWS cloud development and deployment experience.
• Proficient in PySpark, SQL, and data engineering/analysis.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Redshift, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Oracle, RDS, DynamoDB).
• Version control and CI/CD tooling (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CI/CD).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of testing, security, observability, performance optimization, and production support.
• Strong problem solving, communication, collaboration, and code-review skills.

Hybrid Role: 3 days onsite per week - Mandatory

Contract Duration: 12 months

Minimum years of experience: 6-8 years

7+ years of full-stack software development experience.

Strong hands-on development experience with:

Python, including FastAPI or Flask

Java and Spring Boot

Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, serverless applications, and event-driven solutions.

Strong experience with AWS cloud development and deployment.

Experience with Python, PySpark, SQL, and data engineering or data analysis.

Experience with Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL/Aurora, Oracle, RDS, or DynamoDB.

Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS-native CI/CD tools.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and practices.

Understanding of application security, observability, performance optimization, and enterprise production support.

Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and code-review skills.

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:-

Experience with GitHub Copilot or other generative AI development tools.

Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, Claude Sonnet, prompt engineering, guardrails, or GenAI evaluation.

Experience with Amazon Neptune, Gremlin, SPARQL, or Graph APIs.

Knowledge of R programming.

Experience with Karate, JUnit, Testcontainers, pytest, or similar testing frameworks.

Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Datadog, or comparable observability tools.

Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and enterprise data-governance practices.
