Job summary

mthree is seeking an intermediate Python Developer in Data Engineering for one of our financial industry clients in New York. You will design, build, and maintain scalable datapipelines to extract, transform, and load data, ensuring quality and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams across regions.

You'll work with Python, ETL tooling, and data technologies, develop APIs, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of software development experience with a focus on Python & data.
• Strong Python programming and object-oriented design skills.
• Experience with data libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and data processing workflows.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and NoSQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Optimize data workflows for large datasets and reliability.
