Access Search, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Business Planning & Analytics team in Chicago. The role focuses on backend systems, large datasets, and automation to empower data-driven decisions across finance, trading, and operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of software engineering experience, strong Python/SQL skills, and familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Jira. Collaboration with global teams and modern engineering practices are emphasized.

Formación

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or another quantitative field.
• 2 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience building backend systems, APIs, data processing applications, or analytics platforms.
• Experience working with cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools such as GitLab and Jira.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain applications, tools, and automation solutions that support finance, operations, and business analytics functions
• Build and optimize data pipelines, databases, and backend systems that enable efficient data processing, reporting, and analysis
• Develop dashboards, data visualization tools, and reporting solutions that provide stakeholders with actionable business insights
• Partner with cross functional teams to enhance existing systems, improve workflows, and deliver scalable technology solutions
• Contribute to software development best practices, CI/CD processes, and modern engineering initiatives across the organization
