Job summary

Infosys Limited, a global technology leader, is looking for a Technology Consultant 2 in Austin to drive AI/ML and cloud-based solutions. The role spans requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding and integration of features, with emphasis on maintaining software quality and system reliability.

The candidate will contribute to training and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across banking, wealth management and insurance projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or foreign equivalent; willing to consider progressive experience in lieu of education
• Experience in Python development, APIs, scripting, automation and problem solving
• Exposure to DevOps, IaC, platform engineering, observability and cloud operations
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies including data analytics, AI/ML and GenAI solutions
• Experience with AI/ML using Generative AI, prompt engineering and LLM-powered apps

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting parts of business requirements
• Participate in software design discussions and document design decisions
• Code and integrate new features while maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews and manage code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug fixes
• Develop user training, documentation and support frameworks for new software
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques and support activities
