Job summary

Sagis Diagnostics seeks a mid-level Python Automation Developer in Houston, TX to build automation scripts spanning laboratories to HR, Accounting, Finance, and Client Services. This role emphasizes translating business needs into scalable Python solutions and delivering end-to-end automation.

You will work with multiple teams to automate workflows, test and deploy scripts, and maintain robust automation. A 4-year degree and 3–6 years of automation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming (pandas, requests, openpyxl, error handling, logging).
• REST APIs and web services experience.
• Microsoft 365 experience (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Graph API).
• Git version control and deployment experience.
• Databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities.
• Develop Python scripts to automate workflows, data processing, and reporting.
• Integrate with Microsoft 365 applications and APIs.
• Test, deploy, and maintain automation solutions.
