Job summary

Intellias seeks a Python Engineer to build and maintain stateful AI agent workflows using LangGraph. You will design graph-based orchestration and handle checkpointing, HITL interactions, and observability across agent execution paths.

The role demands strong Python expertise with LangGraph or LangChain experience and a solid understanding of asynchronous distributed workflow design. You will implement tests, tracing with OpenTelemetry, and collaborate with core platform teams on scalable AI

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience (4+ years).
• Experience with LangGraph or LangChain.
• Knowledge of asynchronous workflows (asyncio).
• Experience with OpenTelemetry tracing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agent workflows using LangGraph and Python.
• Build graph-based orchestration with nodes, edges, state transitions.
• Implement workflow checkpointing and recovery with SQLite/Redis/PostgreSQL.
• Develop HITL workflows for approvals, escalation and intervention scenarios.
• Design resilient execution patterns including retries, timeouts, fallbacks.
• Develop asynchronous workflow execution using Python asyncio.
• Implement OpenTelemetry tracing across orchestration layers and workflow steps.
• Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize performance, reliability, and observability.
• Collaborate with platform and AI engineering teams to build scalable agent-driven solutions.
• Create automated tests for workflow reliability and state transitions.
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices around agent orchestration and workflow management.
