STONEGATE TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking a Senior Java Developer / Python AI Platform Engineer in Pasadena, CA. The role requires deep backend expertise, Java 17/21, Python, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka data pipelines, and cloud services.

You will build scalable backend systems, work with AWS Lambda/ECS, and develop AI-powered applications using LLMs and Generative AI. This hybrid position requires 3 days onsite in Pasadena.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of backend software development experience.
• Expert in Java 17/21, Python, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Design and develop scalable backend systems.
• Build high-throughput data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
• Hands-on AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, AI Agents, or Generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services and APIs.
• Develop scalable data pipelines with Kafka for high throughput.
