Job summary

Omegahires is seeking a Python AI Engineer with 6+ years of professional software development experience to build scalable backend services, fuse AI capabilities, and deliver production-ready cloud-native solutions.

You will design and operate microservices, implement REST APIs with FastAPI, and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to support LLM workflows and AI orchestration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python expertise.
• Proven design and operation of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience building MCP servers, AI service integrations, or tool-based interfaces for LLM applications.
• Proficiency with FastAPI and scalable architectures.
• Strong understanding of scalable architecture, asynchronous processing, caching, messaging, and fault-tolerant design.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiarity with logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting.
• Exposure to LangChain, vector DBs, and AI orchestration frameworks.

Our Client is looking for a Python AI Engineer with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience and strong expertise in Python, distributed systems, microservices, and AI/LLM applications. The ideal candidate will build scalable backend services, integrate AI capabilities and tool-based interfaces, and develop production-ready solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python expertise.

Proven experience designing and operating microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

Experience building MCP servers, AI service integrations, or tool-based interfaces for LLM applications.

Proficiency with modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI.

Strong understanding of scalable architecture, asynchronous processing, caching, messaging, and fault-tolerant design.

Experience with SQL, data modeling, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

Experience with logging, metrics, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting.

Familiarity with LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.

Exposure to technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow, MLflow, Kubeflow, or Argo Workflows.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience developing agentic AI and tool‑calling workflows.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with cloud‑native AI services and managed vector/search platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed system patterns, event‑driven architecture, and asynchronous messaging.
