Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Python development.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python/AI Developer with strong expertise in Python development, enterprise application architecture, and Agentic AI to support the modernization of a legacy codebase into a modern technology stack.

The ideal candidate will leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot to build scalable Python applications, backend services, automation solutions, and AI-driven components. This role involves working within Agile teams and collaborating with Wealth Management, Banking, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Python-based web applications, backend services, and automation solutions using AI-assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Build AI-driven applications and intelligent agents using Agentic AI frameworks and LLM integrations.
• Design and develop scalable enterprise applications using Python, Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Leverage AI tools for code generation, code reviews, unit testing, and development optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale automation systems and workflow-based solutions.
• Implement automation workflows using queues, custom libraries, and event-driven architectures.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and application maintenance.
• Develop and execute unit tests using pytest, unittest, and other testing frameworks.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and architecture teams.
• Support legacy application modernization and system integration initiatives.
• Document automation procedures, technical designs, and development processes.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Core Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python syntax, data structures, OOP, and design principles.
• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications, AI agents, and Agentic AI architectures.
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications and workflows.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, model interaction design, and Spec-Driven Development.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with enterprise-scale automation, workflow solutions, and process engineering.
• Knowledge of queues, event-driven architecture, microservices, and SOA.
• Experience with unit testing, test automation, and custom Python libraries.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, scalability, security, maintainability, and resilience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Banking, Financial Services, Payments, or Wealth Management domain experience.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
