Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Python/AI Developer to modernize a legacy codebase using AI-driven tooling within an Agile squad spanning Wealth Management, infrastructure, and architecture. The role emphasizes AI-enabled Python development and reliable software engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in core Python development.
• Strong understanding of Python syntax, data structures, OOP, and design principles.
• Experience with AI application development, including building AI agents, integrating LLMs, prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Experience with Python data/ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Understanding of unit testing tools (pytest, unittest) and test automation
• 4 years or more experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise scale automation systems
• Experience with process engineering and re-engineering
• Core understanding of software engineering principles (e.g. encapsulation, extensibility, maintainability)
• Experience architecting and developing workflow-based solutions or functionality.
• Strong knowledge and work experience in automating process using Queues, creation of Libraries

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to generate Python-based web applications, backend services, and automation solutions.
• Design and generate unit test cases to test Python code and execute tests to validate functionality.
• Build AI-driven components leveraging AI frameworks and Copilot extensibility.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for stability and performance.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in Python and AI.

• Monitor changes after feedback during development or testing while keeping specs intact.
• Review code/design and provide expertise in development and integration of systems.
• Configure new automations in an efficient and understandable way.
• Document automation procedures and develop custom libraries.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners to deliver on time.

We are seeking a Python/AI Developer who will use AI‑driven development tools to help modernize the legacy codebase into a modern technology stack. The role involves working in an Agile squad and collaborating with teams across Wealth Management, infrastructure, and architecture. The candidate should understand the banking technology environment and build solutions that adapt to changing business needs.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and other AI‑assisted development tools to generate Python Python-based web applications, backend services, and automation solutions, and perform comprehensive reviews to ensure correctness, quality, and adherence to object‑oriented programming principles and engineering standards
• Leverage AI‑assisted tooling to design and generate unit test cases to test Python code, and execute these tests to validate functionality and compliance with business and technical requirements
• Build AI-driven components leveraging Agentic AI frameworks, Microsoft Copilot extensibility, and other modern AI development tools.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices relevant to Python development and AI.
• Design, develop, and test automation workflows with assured quality.
• Monitor the changes that happen after implementing the feedback during development or testing phase while keeping the project specifications intact.
• Reviewing the code/design and providing expertise in the development, and integration of systems
• Configuring new automations in an efficient and easily understandable way
• Documenting the automation procedures
