Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy Python-based agentic automations for business tasks, from design to deployment. The role involves implementing LLM-based agents, orchestration frameworks, and integrating with GCP services.

Hybrid work in Palo Alto, CA is preferred, with remote options for a great fit. The position offers compensation in the range of $60–$70 per hour, with opportunities to contribute across the automation roadmap, and to guide junior engineers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Python software engineering experience, building production services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Experience building or integrating agentic AI automations (LLM-based agents, orchestration frameworks) for simple-to-medium complexity tasks.
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Some exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Python-based automations and agentic workflows end-to-end.
• Build and integrate agentic AI components into automations.
• Deploy and operate on GCP where needed and integrate with APIs and databases.
• Write and run automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and participate in peer code reviews.
• Communicate technical approaches effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
