Job summary
GKN Aerospace is seeking a Maintenance - Multi-skilled Mechanic/Electrician with pyrometry expertise to support production equipment and facility systems in a high‑reliability aerospace environment.
You will perform SATs and TUS surveys, calibrations, and document results while ensuring compliance with AMS2750 and Nadcap requirements. Strong problem‑solving and technical skills are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
- AMS2750 pyrometry experience is required.
- Experience supporting Nadcap Heat Treat or AS9100 audits is preferred.
- Experience with SAT/TUS, instrument calibration, sensor tracking, and reporting within C3 Data is highly desirable.
- Technical degree or related training in industrial maintenance or instrumentation is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform SAT, TUS, and calibration per AMS2750 and customer requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain temperature controllers, thermocouples, sensors, and related wiring.
- Identify and troubleshoot temperature-control, sensor, and furnace issues.
- Maintain pyrometry records and support audits (internal, customer, Nadcap, AS9100).
- Use C3 Data software to schedule, document, and report pyrometry activities.
- Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
