Job summary

RTX is seeking a Model Manager for the PW4000 program in East Hartford, CT. This onsite leadership role requires decisive decision-making, teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent communication to drive program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience; Or Advanced Degree and 7 years of experience in Operations, engineering, program management and project management.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, fast-paced solutions addressing material constraints and program objectives.
Identify and track material risks; drive cross-functional action plans to mitigate impacts to customers and MRO shops.
Coordinate with partners, suppliers, engine centers, and overhaul facilities to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
Mitigate issues related to delivery, induction schedules, and shop visit progress.
Establish processes, metrics, and goals to measure and improve MRO performance.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve program objectives, including customer-specific initiatives.
Support the Program Manager in leading multi-functional teams for program execution and capture.
Provide timely status updates to senior leadership; manage reporting processes for IPMT and program leadership.
