Flow Control Group seeks a capable Buyer to support purchasing across multiple distribution sites within the industrial PVF sector. You will independently manage supplier relationships, execute POs, and ensure supply aligns with production needs in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, ERP proficiency, and collaboration with planning and logistics to improve procurement processes and cost efficiency. On-site Minnesota location with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in SCM/Operations/Business or related field.
• 2–4 years purchasing, materials, or supply chain experience in industrial plastics or PVF.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems in manufacturing or distribution.

Mansioni

• Execute purchasing activities for direct and indirect materials across multiple sites.
• Create, release, and manage purchase orders in the ERP system with accurate pricing and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, track shipments, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support multi-site material requirements by monitoring demand signals, inventory levels, and transfer needs.
• Maintain ERP item master data including lead times, reorder points, and pricing.
• Collaborate with production planning, operations, and logistics to ensure material availability.
• Assist in supplier performance tracking including on-time delivery and responsiveness.
• Support sourcing and cost-reduction initiatives with supplier data and market info.
• Ensure procurement transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement of purchasing processes and data accuracy.
