Job summary

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the shift foreman.
• Sets up and operates all equipment related to the mixing of raw materials.
• Operates hand and power trucks when necessary.
• Accurately weighs ingredients to insure consistent batch composition.
• Maintains proper temperature of mixing times to produce quality mixtures.
• Records data on inventory, usage, mixing conditions, etc.
• Measures PVC resin bins and blends silos and reports to Foreman.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and organized; follows safe practices.
• Trains inexperienced employees on the job as required.
• Directs activities of others when assigned.
• Substitutes for absentee workers and performs other duties as directed.
