Job summary
Atkore is hiring for a PVC Manufacturing Material Handler on the night shift (8:00pm–8:00am). The role involves ensuring alignment with the production schedule, performing quality control checks, packaging finished pipe, and operating a forklift with Atkore certification provided.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Commitment to safety and clean working environment.
Responsibilities
- Confirm the product running on each extrusion line with the Production schedule.
- Assist with Quality Control duties including monitor saw cuts, pipe length, bell fit, print line confirmation, chamfer/bevel, and reference line spacing.
- Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities.
- Weigh and transport finished product via forklift (Atìkore certification will be provided).
- Cut crate boards to proper lengths and adjust if needed.
- Assist with start-up and changeover of PVC extrusion lines.
- Understand how to get pipe into specification and identify out-of-spec products.
- Perform maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas.
- Proficient with all material handling and packaging devices.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $18.50 + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
