Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join the roofing team in Sealy, TX. Multiple shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) are available. The operator will support a PLC-controlled extrusion coating line, perform setup, run production, and ensure quality across stations.

The role requires reading/writing English, basic PLC touch-screen skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and tolerate extreme temperatures. Overtime and shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good verbal communications skills.
• Understanding of how to use a touch-screen (PLC) production line.

Responsibilities

• Support a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line.
• Perform setup, operation, breakdown and cleaning of line components to optimize speeds and yields.
• Operate forklifts safely to transport materials to workstations.
• Ensure proper quality review of products at assigned workstations.
• Follow company environmental policies and notify supervisor of any concerns.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
