Job summary

American StaffCorp is seeking a production associate for extrusion and plastics manufacturing. The role requires reading a tape measure, performing basic quality checks, and recording defects or issues to help maintain product quality.

You will assist the Shift Supervisor, contribute to a safe working environment, and help keep housekeeping standards high in a fast-paced plant setting.

Summary

Perform tasks involved in the extrusion and manufacturing of plastics. Perform basic quality checks while recording defects or other pertinent information. Additional tasks such as assisting the Shift Supervisor when needed and contributing to a safe work environment while maintaining good housekeeping standards. Must be able to read a tape measure.

Training Requirements

General Safety and Housekeeping Standards. Quality Training to include basic defect identification and escalation. Must have reliable transportation. Proper Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses are provided but always required in production and warehouse areas.

Work Environment

The performance of this position requires normal exposure to typical manufacturing areas. While performing this job the employee regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
