Job summary

Equans Services Canada & US is seeking a Cost Estimator to lead cost estimation for large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage projects across the U.S. You will develop accurate, competitive cost models, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, as well as a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in the renewables sector. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills to support project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of cost estimating experience on U.S.-based EPC projects.
• Experience in the renewables sector, particularly solar and storage projects, is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop detailed cost estimates and analyze project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications of solar PV and battery storage projects to identify cost drivers.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, subcontractors, and logistics.
