NextEra Energy is seeking a PV Solar Field Technician II (Intermediate) to support the operations and maintenance of PV Solar systems. The role is part of the Renewable Operations & Integration (ROI) team and focuses on ensuring reliability and optimal performance of clean energy facilities.

You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams during installation and commissioning of solar projects.

Competenze

• High School Grad / GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in PV Solar or related field.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) required.

Position Specific Description

The PV Solar Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and maintenance of NextEra Energy's PV Solar systems. As a member of the Renewable Operations & Integration (ROI) team, the technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of clean energy systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of PV Solar systems to identify and address any maintenance or performance issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including cleaning panels, replacing faulty components, and performing tests to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures, utilizing technical knowledge and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with the operations team to implement and execute maintenance plans and procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the construction team during the installation and commissioning of new PV Solar projects.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all work activities.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in PV Solar technology and maintenance techniques.
