Job summary

TaylorMade Golf in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Technician Putter Engineer to lead in-house custom putter assembly with high technical specificity. You may extend to other clubs as needed, ensuring quality and accuracy across processes.

Responsibilities include modifying components, assisting golf professionals, repairing or adjusting parts, and prototyping with RDE support. Strong hands-on tooling and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

High School graduate or GED required.
1 year of technical/trade school education preferred.
5+ years of experience modifying existing putter parts for non-standard clubs preferred.
Experience with CNC milling machines preferred.
Passion/interest/knowledge for competitive golf preferred.
Experience with modern tools (AI) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble putter/golf clubs to tight technical specs with accuracy.
Modify components to meet special requirements.
Assist professionals with products by adjusting, repairing or replacing parts.
Service and repair finished products; troubleshoot and perform simple repairs.
Make simple adjustments to correct minor deficiencies or meet individual requirements.
Perform routine analysis to verify specifications against finished product.
Inspect parts for flaws and cosmetic defects; ensure quality workmanship.
Follow prescribed work methods and instructions; maintain tools/equipment.
Uphold sound safety practices in all tasks.
Assist RDE in prototyping products as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.
