ZipStaff Inc. in McLean, VA is seeking a Purview Integration Specialist for a hands-on role focused on compliance surveillance and data-security automation.

You will design, implement, and wire Purview, Purview native AI, and Security Copilot into data pipelines and TypeScript/JavaScript services. You will build backend/frontend components, dashboards, and pipelines, and ensure audit-ready solutions while collaborating with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years hands-on Microsoft Purview (data governance, cataloging, classification, and policy configuration)
• GenAI experience with Security Copilot and Purview native AI
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python skills
• Data engineering: ETL, pipelines, cataloging

Responsibilities

• Design and automate solutions on Microsoft Purview, Purview native AI, and Security Copilot for compliance surveillance.
• Integrate Security Copilot for discovery, detection, and compliance monitoring.
• Build backend and frontend components in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build monitoring and reporting dashboards for compliance surveillance and alerting.
• Engineer pipelines to ingest, transform, and catalog sensitive data.
• Build integrations with Microsoft native connectors and enterprise systems (M365, Power Platform).
• Configure and test Purview policies, workflows, and dashboards; keep solutions audit-ready.
• Write technical solution documentation and provide production and end-user support.

Job Title: Purview Integration Specialist

Location: McLean, VA (On-site)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099)

About the Opportunity

ZipStaff is seeking a Purview Integration Specialist for compliance surveillance and data-security automation at a leading housing-finance organization.

You will build on Microsoft Purview, Purview native AI, and Security Copilot, and wire those into data pipelines and TypeScript / JavaScript services. This is a hands-on Purview and GenAI integration seat — not a policy-only compliance role and not a generic Copilot user.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and automate solutions on Microsoft Purview, Purview native AI, and Security Copilot for compliance surveillance.
• Integrate Security Copilot for discovery, detection, and compliance monitoring.
• Build backend and frontend components in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Build monitoring and reporting dashboards for compliance surveillance and alerting.

Required Qualifications:

• Practical implementation of GenAI solutions, specifically Security Copilot and Purview native AI.
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Data engineering: ETL, pipelines, cataloging.
• AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift) and security integrations.
• Ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work on-site in McLean, VA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• REST APIs between enterprise applications.
• Microsoft certifications (SC-900, or Information Protection Administrator Associate).
• Regulated industry or enterprise risk / compliance.
