Job summary

Veriipro in McLean, VA seeks an experienced Microsoft Purview Integration Specialist with 7+ years of software development. You will design and implement AI-driven automation, data governance, and security solutions using Microsoft Purview, Purview native AI, and Security Copilot, connecting enterprise platforms and AWS services.

You will build backend and frontend components in TypeScript/JavaScript, develop data pipelines, and create dashboards for compliance and operational visibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, data cataloging, classification, compliance, and policy configuration.
• Strong practical experience implementing and optimizing Generative AI (GenAI) solutions, particularly Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft Purview native AI capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with data engineering, including ETL, data pipelines, data cataloging, data transformation, and data management.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and enterprise applications.
• Experience with AWS data and cloud services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, security, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Purview with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of file systems, data security, compliance, governance, and enterprise data management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business, security, compliance, and governance requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and automate solutions using Microsoft Purview, Purview native AI, and Microsoft Security Copilot to support enterprise compliance and data security.
• Integrate Security Copilot with enterprise security and compliance solutions to enhance data discovery, detection, monitoring, and reporting.
• Configure and optimize Microsoft Purview policies, classifications, governance controls, workflows, and data cataloging capabilities.
• Develop robust backend and frontend components using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Develop monitoring, reporting, and compliance dashboards for real-time surveillance, alerting, and operational visibility.
• Design, develop, and manage data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, cataloging, and managing sensitive data.
• Build enterprise integrations using Microsoft native connectors, RESTful APIs, and other integration technologies.
• Integrate Microsoft Purview with enterprise platforms, including Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
• Work with AWS data and security services, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift, as required for data and integration solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Purview implementations to ensure performance, reliability, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Perform functional and component testing of configured policies, workflows, integrations, and dashboards.
• Translate business and compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical solution documentation, architecture documentation, and implementation guides.
• Provide ongoing production support and end-user assistance.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, security teams, compliance teams, and other enterprise functions.
