Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Microsoft Purview implementations for enterprise customers, strengthening data protection and regulatory compliance postures. You will map customer objectives to Purview capabilities, configure DLP and sensitivity labels, and guide deployment through testing and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in professional services consulting or similar roles focusing on data protection or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of information protection, data loss prevention, and compliance practices.
• Hands-on experience implementing or administering Microsoft Purview, including DLP, sensitivity labels, Insider Risk Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, or Audit.
• Experience translating business and regulatory requirements into policies, controls, and technical configurations.
• Familiarity with data classification methods, including sensitive information types and regular expressions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Microsoft Purview implementations addressing information protection, DLP, and compliance requirements.
• Translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into Purview policies, labels, controls, and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal teams to clarify requirements and track decisions.
• Coordinate across teams to resolve issues and deliver projects on time.
• Mentor colleagues in Purview, project delivery, and customer management.
• Develop and document best practices, processes, and reference architectures for the managed services team.
