Moss is seeking a Pursuits Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to lead strategic business proposals and client presentations. Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the AEC industry, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
• Expertise in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; detail-oriented with persuasive writing and editing abilities
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines

Responsibilities

• Proposal Management: Read, review, analyze, and interpret solicitations; manage proposals from start to finish, including meetings and SME tasks
• Content Creation: Prepare responsive proposals, including copywriting, formatting, and proofs
• Graphic Design: Create graphical representations (flow charts, diagrams) and visually appealing documents
• Production Oversight: Produce solicitations in-house and oversee vendor production; ensure on-time submission
• Presentation Management: Manage presentations, including slide creation and vendor coordination
• Collaboration: Support pursuit team with resumes, fact sheets, editing and production, coordinate with data analyst for materials

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Proposal Management:Read, review, analyze, and interpret all requirements and objectives of solicitations (e.g., RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, ITNs). Manage proposals from start to finish, including facilitating meetings and assigning tasks to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) while managing within the deliverable timeline

Content Creation:Prepare and compile responsive and successfulproposals/deliverables,including planning, design, compilation, and production of responses to solicitations and subsequent presentations. Produce concise yet persuasive responses to solicitations, including copywriting and formatting. Critically edit and proof content, including content prepared by others

Graphic Design:Translate technical processes and other complex information as needed into graphical representations (e.g., flow charts and diagrams) and create visually appealing proposals, presentations, and other documents

Production Oversight:Perform in-house production of solicitations and other deliverables as needed; oversee vendor production when needed. Ensure deliverables are submitted on time and maintain documentation providing proof of submission

Presentation Management:Manage presentations, including content and slide creation, working with outside vendors (e.g., animation studios), coaching the presentation team, and operating marketing equipment during presentations

Collaboration:Provide support to other team members for deliverables as needed, including gathering information, preparing resumes/fact sheets, editing, proofing, and production. Collaborate with the pursuit team leadership and other business leaders on pursuits, pursuit process, and business development needs. Collaborate with the data analyst to organize, update, and maintain the database and marketing materials, including project lists, reference lists, reference letters, and personnel resumes

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

5-7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the AEC industry, with a bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications
