Job summary

Egis in the U.S. seeks a Pursuit Manager | Team Lead to drive winning bids across Texas and the South Central and Midwest regions, with a focus on TxDOT opportunities. You’ll guide capture, lead multidisciplinary teams, and shape interview strategy to position Egis for success.

The role requires leading complex pursuits, coaching proposal professionals, and coordinating with internal and external partners to maximize win probability. Hybrid/remote-friendly within business needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of AEC/transportation pursuit and proposal experience with demonstrated TxDOT experience.
• Experience with capture planning, positioning, teaming, proposal development, and interview preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pursuits: Manage LOIs, SOQs, RFQ/RFP responses, and interview presentations from kickoff through award.
• Drive Win Strategy: Develop capture strategies, win themes, value propositions, storyboards, compliance plans, and pursuit schedules and hold teams to them.
• Lead TxDOT Pursuits: Apply knowledge of PEPS, PS-CAMS, CCIS, precertification/work groups, IDIQ and SD procurements.
• Build Winning Teams: Coach and coordinate project managers, technical leads, key personnel, subconsultants, and DBE, HUB, VetHUB partners around pursuit strategy and requirements.
• Strengthen Positioning: Track TxDOT priorities, upcoming procurements, incumbents, competitors, teaming patterns, and selection drivers.
• Prepare Teams to Win: Lead interview strategy, mock panels, presentation coaching, and Q&A preparation.
• Support the Regional Pipeline: Lead or support priority pursuits across TX, OK, KS, IL, IN, OH, and MO.
• Develop the Inside Sales Team: Mentor, develop, and coach Proposal Specialists while reinforcing pursuit best practices and providing QA/QC reviews.

Job Description

We are looking for a Pursuit Manager | Team Lead in Texas to drive wins for Egis across Texas and the South Central and Midwest Region with a primary focus on Texas DOT (TxDOT).

The Impact You'll Make

• Lead Pursuits: Manage LOIs, SOQs, RFQ/RFP responses, and interview presentations from kickoff through award.
• Drive Win Strategy: Develop capture strategies, win themes, value propositions, storyboards, compliance plans, and pursuit schedules and hold respective teams to them.
• Lead TxDOT Pursuits: Apply knowledge of PEPS, PS-CAMS, CCIS, precertification/work groups, Indefinite Deliverable/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Specific Deliverable (SD) procurements.
• Build Winning Teams: Coach and coordinate project managers, technical leads, key personnel, subconsultants, and DBE, HUB, VetHUB partners around pursuit strategy and requirements.
• Strengthen Positioning: Track TxDOT District/Division priorities, upcoming procurements, incumbents, competitors, teaming patterns, and selection drivers in concert with applying lessons learned from debriefs.
• Prepare Teams to Win: Lead interview strategy, mock panels, presentation coaching, and Q&A preparation.
• Support the Regional Pipeline: Lead or support priority pursuits across TX, OK, KS, IL, IN, OH, and MO.
• Develop the Inside Sales Team: Mentor, develop, and coach Proposal Specialists while reinforcing pursuit best practices and providing QA/QC reviews. Support workload and resource planning, as needed.

Qualifications

The Expertise You'll Bring

• 7+ years of AEC/transportation pursuit and proposal experience with demonstrated TxDOT experience.
• Strong understanding of TxDOT PEPS procurement, PS-CAMS, CCIS, precertification/work groups, and consultant selection processes.
• Experience with capture planning, positioning, teaming, proposal development, and interview preparation.
• Proficiency in the InDesign software
• Knowledge of DBE, HUB, VetHUB participation and teaming requirements.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and multiple concurrent pursuits.
• Experience coaching or mentoring proposal/pursuit professionals.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Engineering, Planning, or related field, is preferred.
• APMP or CPSM certification a plus.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

At Egis, we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process, we've included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $110,000 – $167,500 annually.

In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive compensation, where applicable, and a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes health benefits, retirement savings, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and other employee programs.
