Job Title: Seasonal Housekeeper

Status: Part-Time, Seasonal, Non-Exempt

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor, Resort Lodging Manager

Purity Spring Resort is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and readiness of all buildings and rooms to the highest standards. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities Include

• Perform daily cleaning of rooms and buildings, including sanitizing bathrooms, washing windows, dishes, and walls, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and handling laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all supply areas.
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies, reporting low inventory levels.
• Identify and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Ensure proper labeling and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Respond promptly to management or supervisor requests.
• Handle lost and found items appropriately.
• Perform deep cleaning as required.

Position Requirements

Qualifications Include

• High school diploma, GED, or actively working toward completion.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic technology skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods, and perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, and occasional ladder use.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining guest and employee confidentiality.
