Job summary

Lampire Biological Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support manufacturing operations in our Kentucky facility. The role focuses on routine buffer preparation, protein purification, and adherence to cGMP standards.

You will write and revise SOPs, assist in batch records, and help with labeling, filing, and inspection of finished products. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
• Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations,
• Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of the metric system.

Responsibilities

• Routine buffer preparation for department processes.
• Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal igGs and other antibodies
• Write and revise SOPs and Batch Records as needed.
• Assist in filing, labeling and finished product inspection.
• Operate basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
• Compliance with all SOPs related to Protein Purification
• Cleaning of all laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Perform work in accordance with cGMP
• Autoclave sterilization of items as needed
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the CAPA program.

• Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal igGs and other antibodies
• Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Batch Records (BR) as needed.
• Assist in filing, labeling and finished product good inspection.
• Operate basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
• Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in relation to Protein Purification
• Cleaning of all laboratory areas on a regular basis
• Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed
• Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
