Job Description:
This position will be responsible for the purification of antibodies at the Everett facility.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Routine buffer preparation for all processes being performed in the department.
- Protein A and Protein G purification of Normal igGs and other antibodies
- Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Batch Records (BR) as needed.
- Assist in filing, labeling and finished product good inspection.
- Operate basic Laboratory and Analytical equipment
- Compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) in relation to Protein Purification
- Cleaning of all laboratory areas on a regular basis
- Perform work in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
- Perform autoclave sterilization of items as needed
- Assist in preparation of investigation reports as part of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) program.
Requirements:
- Good oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required.
- Windows-based computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with cGMP quality systems and manufacturing operations,
- Ability to give directions, train others and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of the metric system.
Education:
- Minimum of a high school diploma, Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a scientific field with a high school diploma
