Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with more than 500 franchise locations in the United States and Canada. We are currently expanding our team at Pure Barre, seeking a qualified Assistant Sales Manager focused on driving sales and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. As a boutique fitness studio, we provide the highest level of client service and attention to detail, ensuring our clients feel empowered and well cared for. We prioritize individual fitness and lifestyle needs, offering services like memberships and retail options to support clients at every stage of their fitness journey.

Responsibilities & Duties

The Assistant Sales Manager will assist the Studio Owner and Sales Manager in driving studio sales and overseeing Member Services at the Durham studio location.

This position requires 19-23 hours of in-studio work weekly, plus hourly remote work as needed.

In-studio hours are as follows:

Monday – 3:45pm to 8:00pm

Tuesday – 6:45am to 11:00am

Wednesday – 3:45pm to 6:45pm

Thursday – 6:45am to 11:00am

Friday – 3:45pm to 6:45pm

Saturday, Sunday – two weekend shifts per month as scheduled

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with lead generation, including planning grassroots marketing and studio events
  • Communicating event information to staff timely
  • Implementing sales processes to schedule prospects into classes
  • Managing member accounts and retention tasks within ClubReady
  • Drafting bi-weekly team emails about events and announcements
  • Promoting retail sales through merchandising and events
  • Managing the team schedule and facilitating open shift coverage
  • Participating in weekly and bi-weekly meetings with the team and corporate managers
  • Maintaining studio cleanliness and enforcing policies
  • Supporting the Durham Sales Manager as needed and communicating with staff for daily operations

Requirements

  • 1+ year of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred
  • Confidence in generating personal sales and training sales reps
  • Ability to manage multiple revenue streams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solution-oriented, results-driven, competitive spirit
  • Ability to identify improvement areas and adapt accordingly
  • Passion for fitness
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, able to prioritize
  • Proficiency in ClubReady and POS systems

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including weekends.
