This 12-week, in-office internship runs 40 hours per week from May 17, 2027, with pay discussed during interview; interns will assist buyers, track purchase orders, coordinate deliveries, and support RFQ activities while traveling within a 3-hour Pittsburgh radius.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Project Management, or related field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Foundational procurement knowledge and vendor management.
• Willingness to travel within 3-hour radius of the Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities

• Create and track purchase orders.
• Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate material deliveries to job sites and warehouses.
• Support RFQ processes and bid evaluations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Assist Purchasing and Supply Chain Managers.
