The role emphasizes lifecycle management of requisitions and POs, supplier relationship management, and SAP-driven data accuracy. This hybrid position supports manufacturing operations, with on-site work in Michigan and remote work on select days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders throughout their lifecycle.
• Purchase MRO materials, services, and supplies to support manufacturing operations.
• Track orders, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and p-card transactions.
• Maintain supplier relationships and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Create vendor setup requests and maintain purchasing records in SAP.
• Support service agreements and contractor compliance in partnership with corporate procurement.
• Utilize SAP purchasing data to ensure accurate sourcing and pricing.
• Resolve aging purchase requests, returns, warranty claims, and defective product issues.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and GMP standards.
