Responsibilities

  • Manage purchasing activities, including sourcing, supplier negotiations, and purchase order processing.
  • Utilize MRP systems to plan, forecast, and manage material requirements based on production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Maintain and update accurate material, supplier, pricing, and inventory data within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to prevent stock shortages or excess inventory.
  • Analyze purchasing and inventory reports to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with production, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.
  • Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
  • Resolve purchasing discrepancies, invoice issues, and supplier-related concerns.
  • Generate and maintain reports, records, and documentation related to procurement and inventory activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing procedures, and quality requirements.
