Job summary

ProAmpac in Michigan is seeking a Storeroom Associate to manage inventory control of storeroom materials, record movements, and maintain neat premises. You will perform clerical duties and receive materials while ensuring accurate documentation and organized storage.

The role requires an associate degree or better, familiarity with parts terminology, strong communication and detail orientation, and proficiency with MS Office. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory control of storeroom materials.
• Handle and record movements of incoming & outgoing storeroom materials.
• Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Perform clerical duties in a storeroom setting.
• Receive and handle materials for storing in a storeroom.
• Handle storeroom supplies in an organized, scheduled manner.
• Check received storeroom materials against the documents.
• Perform routine physical checks of the storeroom materials for breakages and damage.

Requirements

• An associate degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, accounting, business administration, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in a storeroom environment or familiarity with parts terminology is necessary.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational ability to work with all levels and departments of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• A basic understanding of accounting practices.
• Ability to operate computer systems and learn to utilize general and mill-specific business applications effectively and efficiently.
