Job Summary

As a Purchasing Manager, you will oversee purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management at a specific unit. Responsibilities include implementing best practices, improving supply chain processes, and leading location purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communicate with team and management regarding purchase needs and specifications.
2. Work with operations and culinary teams to meet budget and performance goals.
3. Manage vendors proactively.
4. Oversee inventory rotation and accuracy.
5. Ensure timely ordering and delivery management.
6. Conduct regular inventory checks and minimize loss.
7. Manage product transfers, requisitions, and forecasting with vendors.
8. Identify slow-moving stock and collaborate on solutions.
9. Negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery.
10. Review shipments and compile monthly reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• At least three years of related experience in supply chain or purchasing.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures, food, beverage, and printing products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ordering systems.
• Understanding of food and inventory trends.
• Experience with P&L and contract-managed services is desirable.
• Strong data entry, organizational, and computer skills.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Operational experience in food and beverage preferred.
