Job summary

Signode is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead a team of Purchasing Planners. This role encompasses purchasing execution and inventory planning for the APT business across multiple plants.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills with over 10 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management. Responsibilities include supplier engagement and aligning inventory with corporate goals to ensure uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain.
• 7+ years of people management experience, preferably managing planners or buyers.
• Strong background in manufacturing, equipment, or industrial supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, coach, and develop six Purchasing Planners.
• Own overall inventory planning and purchasing execution.
• Lead supplier engagement and oversee purchasing strategies.
