Job summary

Adair Homes, a leader in residential construction, seeks a Purchasing Manager to drive purchasing strategy across markets and develop strong supplier relationships. You will oversee bidding, contracts, and should-cost models while guiding a high-performing team to optimize margins and protect quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing, estimating, construction, supply chain, or related experience.
• Experience negotiating supplier and subcontractor agreements.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP or purchasing systems.

• Partner with Estimating, Product Development, Construction Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Purchasing Agents while establishing purchasing standards and best practices.
• Monitor KPIs and purchasing performance to support company growth and operational excellence.

As our Purchasing Manager, you'll lead purchasing operations across multiple markets, develop strong trade partner relationships, and drive the purchasing strategy that supports every home we build.
