We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead strategic procurement efforts and drive operational excellence across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the purchasing function, ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors to support production demands and business objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and optimize cost.
• Oversee purchasing budgets, forecasts, and spend analytics aligned with business goals.
• Mitigate supply chain risks related to quality, cost, delivery, and availability.
• Support international sourcing strategies and lead implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in operations, engineering, and quality to align procurement strategy with overall business needs.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage materials planning and procurement workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in procurement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience in international supply chain management and VMI programs.
• APICS or similar supply chain/purchasing certification is a plus.
