• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in purchasing, experience must include Strategic procurement.
• Demonstrated experience in supervisory role, exhibiting strong leadership and management skills in guiding and overseeing team members to achieve objectives.
• Minimum 5 years SAP MM experience.
• Proven experience in vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of materials management, inventory control, and purchase order processing.
• Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working in manufacturing.
• Customer focused and "does what it takes" mentality
• Multi-functional background with both HQ and Field experience appreciated
• Exceptional leadership skills and ability to manage complexity in an ever-changing environment
• Deep understanding of purchasing in manufacturing environment
• Deep understanding of procurement best practices and trends

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure the organization acquires high-quality materials and services at the best possible cost. This position is responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies that align with the company’s operational goals and financial objectives. The Purchasing Manager leads vendor negotiations, manages supplier relationships, and coordinates with internal departments to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels. By effectively managing the supply chain and materials management processes, this role directly contributes to cost reduction and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications:
