Job summary

M&M Industries, Inc. is a U.S.-based manufacturer of plastic pails and packaging solutions.

The Purchasing Coordinator will manage PO entry and post-entry supply chain tracking, liaising with domestic and international suppliers to maintain pricing and delivery schedules to support production operations. In this role, you will verify requisitions, place and expeditie purchase orders, and analyze data using Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Business degree or equivalent experience required.
• One to two years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with MRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify purchase requisitions by comparing requested materials to the master list.
• Recommend alternatives for out-of-stock items.
• Forward purchase orders to vendors and monitor delivery.
• Verify part numbers, specifications, and pricing prior to releasing orders.
• Expedite orders and resolve issues with suppliers as needed.
• Utilize ERP system to track purchases and inventory levels.
