Job summary

Lennar is seeking an organized team player for a data-driven purchasing/estimating support role. You will set up plan take-offs, maintain options, monitor site budgets, and collaborate with estimators and purchasing to resolve issues. Proficiency in Excel and Word is essential, with JD Edwards experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and maintain plan take-off information for new and revised plans.
  • Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within divisions.
  • Monitor home site budgeting in line with projected start dates.
  • Review preliminary lot starts before finalizing.
  • Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve issues.
  • Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing.
  • Update purchase orders to keep cost, quantities, or trade partners current.
  • Respond to varying workload as defined by business needs.
  • Process Z-Report, AV report, and PO deletion tickets.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
  • Set-up and maintain plan take-off information, including complete entry for new and revised plans.
  • Set-up and maintain option take-offs for all plans/communities within their division(s) of responsibility.
  • Monitor home site (lot) budgeting in compliance with projected start dates.
  • Reviewing preliminary lot starts prior to finalizing.
  • Interact with estimating and division purchasing to resolve any issues.
  • Generate and maintain supplier/trade partner item pricing by utilizing the upload/download process.
  • Update purchase orders as directed by division partners to maintain current cost, quantities or Trade Partners.
  • Respond to varying workload and pace as defined by the business needs.
  • Process Z- Report tickets.
  • Process AV report tickets.
  • Process PO deletion tickets.
Your Toolbox
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer literate with efficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • JD Edwards experience preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Professionally perform multiple, detail oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Possess strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty.
  • Be a team player with ability to work under pressure.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
