Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC is offering a Co-op position in Avon, Ohio for students majoring in Supply Chain Management, Materials, Operations, or Purchasing. This on-site co-op works within the Integrated Supply Chain group and supports RFQ, supplier coordination, and process improvements.

Responsibilities include analyzing quotations, managing POs, maintaining metrics, and assisting in supplier transitions and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage RFQ process.
• Analyze quotations and assist in capital appropriations and PO issuance.
• Maintain monthly and annual supply chain metrics.
• Assist Supply Chain manager and buyers in day-to-day projects.
• Participate in supplier and cross-functional team meetings.
• Participate in manufacturing reviews and interplant meetings.
• Assist invoicing and payment issues.
• Support supplier transition projects and new product introductions.
