Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support Supplier Management within the Technical Operations Team of the Supply Chain. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1-2 years relevant office environment experience.
• Experience in SCEPTRE, COUPA, & Workbrain preferred.
• Ability to secure airport security badges and pass FAA background checks, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs system updates (SCEPTRE, COUPA, Workbrain) for processing supplier orders, invoicing, and PTO/payroll.
• Interacts with American Airlines suppliers and coordinates supplier meetings, portal enrollment, calendar invites, and escorting to/from venue.
• Issues, edits, and corrects PO, RO, Form 3011s and Supplier Invoices.
• Coordinates new hire onboarding, including ordering hardware/software for the role.
• Performs order expediting functions as needed.
• Aids in resolution of order discrepancies.
• Provides backup for the Tech Ops Supplier Management Purchasing Assistant team.

What you'll do

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience in SCEPTRE, COUPA, & Workbrain

• Associate degree or 3 years relevant experience as an office manager or staff assistant

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable

• Ability to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
