Job summary

Global Edge Group is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join our Supply Chain team as a site Expeditor. You will work with Buyers, expedite suppliers, issue RFQs, maintain KPI reports, and manage purchase orders for C Class and MRO items.

The role emphasizes data analysis, teamwork in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to company policies. Part-time schedule up to 30 hours/week (7:00am-5:00pm).

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of relevant purchasing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Run daily reports and open PO reports.
• Communicate with US and foreign suppliers for expediting status.
• Issue RFQs to support buyers as needed.
• Maintain KPI reports weekly/monthly.
• Buy C-Class and MRO items to support Buyers.
• Follow Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Our team is currently looking for an Purchasing Analyst for one of our clients in the Manufacturing Industry.

We are seeking an individual with high energy and a drive for results to join our team as a site Expeditor within our Supply Chain department. They will be responsible for working with Buyers, expediting suppliers, updating the system, issuing RFQ’s, maintaining KPI reports, issuing and monitoring purchase orders (PO’s) for C Class, MRO items and other general duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Run daily reports, issuing open PO reports to suppliers
• Direct communication with US and Foreign based suppliers for expediting/status updates
• Issue RFQ’s to support buyers as required
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly KPI reports
• Buy C-Class, MRO items as required to support Buyers
• At all times comply with company Safety, Integrity & Ethics procedures/policies
• Compliance with company Supply Chain policies & procedures
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in purchasing roles
• Ability to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment
• Basic data analysis skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and responsiveness based on the needs of the business
• Proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
