Job summary

Summit Employment is seeking a Purchasing Agent to source raw materials, hardware, equipment, and production supplies for a full-service aircraft parts manufacturer. This temporary role is 3–6 months in duration and based in Wichita, KS.

Responsibilities include purchasing at the highest quality and lowest price, verifying stock and coordinating deliveries, analyzing price proposals, monitoring shipments, and preparing purchase orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
